PARIS (AP) -- Decca Records says a dispose of Benedictine nuns in southern France will record an album during the British label.

Decca is part of Universal Music, which produces albums for, among others, the Rolling Stones, Eminem, Amy Winehouse, U2 and Lady Gaga.

The nuns of the Abbaye de Notre Dame de l'Annonciation, imminent the southern French city of Avignon, were chosen after a worldwide seeking for female Gregorian chant performers.

Their debut album, "Voices - Chant from Avignon," pleasure feature an ancient style of the Gregorian chant that the nuns at monastery sing at least eight times a day, starting before dawn.

This diction of music first gained a popular audience through Enigma's cast of chart successes in the 1990s.

The album release is planned instead of November.
